Despite the impact of COVID -19 in South Africa, Mark made the most of 2020!
On the track, he competed in three KZN league meetings in February & December 2020 racing in distances from 1500m to 5000m in the M50-54 category.

Before lockdown, Mark competed at the KZN cross country league 1 – achieving a credible 39mins 13s time for the 8km course.
During lockdown he maintained his motivation by taking part in various virtual runs including the Comrades Marathon virtual youth run and the Sanlam Cape Town virtual 10km peace run.
Mark also continued to keep up his cross country fitness by tackling his local Parkrun course alone (the Dusi not Parkrun).
Mark finished off 2020 strong running his personal best over 3km of 14:57.67 on the road on 30 December 2020.
Best wishes for 2021 Mark from everyone at KZN Masters. We hope that you achieve your health and fitness goals for the year ahead and that we will see you on the track and cross country courses later in the year.
